Francesca had a fun filled morning with fellow 500 Words judges Malorie Blackman, Charlie Higson and Frank Cottrell Boyce and honorary judge the Duchess of Cornwall as the winners were announced live at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London. The judges were joined by actors Julie Walters and Tom Hiddleston and Nick Jonas who read the winning entries.

Not only did she take tea with The Duchess of Cornwall but she also caught up with Waterstones Children’s Laureate Chris Riddell who did this magnificent sketch of her ‘expressive hair’!
