Francesca donates to the charity Shivia

Following the publication of Francesca Simon’s new picture book, The Goat Café, by Faber, she has made a donation to the charity Shivia. Shivia supports families in West Bengal. Her donation will help four families to become goat farmers.

She has also chosen to donate all of her future royalties from the sale of The Goat Café to Shivia.

Francesca says, “Shivia is a wonderful charity, working closely with local people to enable them both to earn a sustainable livelihood and to educate their children, especially girls. I am delighted to support them.”
